Technology offers: Saxon Innovation Exchange 2022/2
Flexible supercapacitors and batteries
Brief description Innovation:
Development of new materials for energy storage (supercapacitors and batteries)
Cooperation partners sought: Development of new materials for energy storage (supercapacitors and batteries)
Flexible and printable magnetic field sensors
Brief description Innovation:
We have unique expertise in the fabrication and optimization of magnetic field sensors on rigid (wafer, ceramic) and flexible (polymer, paper) substrates based on thin film and printing technologies.
Wanted cooperation partners: We are looking for partners for (i) joint development of our sensors up to a product, (ii) joint commercialization activities, (iii) licensing of our technology.
GreenResearcher
Brief description Innovation:
In order to tap into the global development potential of indoor farming, we are developing technologies to automate the cultivation process.
Wanted cooperation partners: We are looking for potential production partners in the network for components of our systems (frame, LED modules, electrical engineering), capital providers and partners for other applications.
Impedance chip: Dilution-free counting of cells
Description of the innovation:
To date, determining the number of biological species such as bacteria in liquid has required complex procedures such as microscopic counting of CFUs or determination of optical density - usually by dilution. With our developed method, a combination of silicon-based chip and impedance measuring device, the number of cells can be determined quickly, without dilution and without optics.
Wanted cooperation partners: We are looking for users, system manufacturers and distributors. We supply impedance chips in limited quantities. For larger quantities we are looking for a manufacturer. Development and validation projects, e.g. to adapt the impedance chip to special applications, are possible.
IsoSIL - Phosgene-free synthesis of isocyanates
Description of the innovation:
Isocyanates are produced industrially using phosgene. Phosgene is an extremely toxic gas which can be fatal to humans if inhaled in even the smallest concentrations. IsoSIL offers a completely phosgene-free synthesis route for the production of isocyanates, which in turn are raw materials for numerous everyday products (construction and mattress foams, paints, coatings, plastics, cosmetics, pesticides, ...).
Wanted cooperation partners: We are looking for motivated team members who want to build a start-up together with us.
Customized finishing of metal components with plasmotion / EXIST research transfer JETPEP
Description of the innovation:
Smooth, high-gloss and sterile metal surfaces in seconds instead of hours. Plasma polishing has these strengths in the industry, but is limited to small components. By transferring the operating principle from an electrolyte bath to an electrolyte jet with jet plasma polishing, we are breaking through this barrier. In this way, we open up the highly efficient process with environmentally friendly electrolytes for parts of any size and individual processing of individual surfaces.
Wanted cooperation partners: We are currently developing our prototype system. At the same time, we are validating and prioritizing use cases together with interested pilot customers. For this purpose, we are looking for companies with challenges in the finishing of metal surfaces that want to set new standards in the industry with us.
TiO2 nanotube scaffolds: Upscaling and establishment for diagnostics and therapy
Brief description Innovation:
We are developing an innovative diagnostic tool that will pave the way for personalized medicine (PM). With this tool, biopsied patient tissue is tested in advance for the effectiveness of various drugs and the treatment with the greatest chance of recovery is determined individually before the actual start of therapy. Our TiO2 nanotube scaffolds replace previous tissue culture models and enable unprecedented physiological tissue preservation.
Cooperation partners sought: scientific pilot customers to optimize the nanotubes for different tissues, sales partnerships, investors
T-PAPER - Roll-printed loudspeaker paper
Brief description Innovation:
T-PAPER is flexible, lightweight loudspeaker paper that can be produced in long rolls using highly productive mass printing processes. It consists of 90% sustainable paper. Printable and non-toxic functional polymers form the core.
Cooperation partners sought: Application/pilot partners
